Beers, who averages a double-double, nearly achieved a 20-20 game.

For Tennessee, Talaysia Cooper led with 22 points on 8-for-15 shooting, plus four assists, three rebounds, and two steals. Jaida Civil added 21 points and 10 rebounds for her first double-double, while Nya Robertson scored 18 points, including four 3-pointers. Tennessee outshot Oklahoma from beyond the arc, 10-for-29 to 4-for-18.

Tennessee forward Janiah Barker did not travel with the team. Coach Kim Caldwell stated that Barker "did not meet program expectations," according to the ESPN broadcast. The loss drops Tennessee to 16-10 overall and 8-6 in SEC play, their fourth straight defeat. Oklahoma improves to 21-6 overall and 9-5 in conference, extending their program record with a seventh 100-point game this season.
