Frontier Developments has revealed Planet Zoo 2, which will launch on 13 October 2026 across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
The sequel adds aquatic and flying animal species along with new habitat and layout options. Players can also restore natural habitats and release animals into Wildlife Reserves outside zoo grounds, according to the publisher's press release.
Frontier Developments has refreshed the official Planet Zoo YouTube channel with a new logo for Planet Zoo 2. The change points to an upcoming announcement for the management game sequel. This follows a tease last year and an explicit confirmation of work on the project.
