Sony has announced three new games for PlayStation Plus subscribers in May 2026. EA Sports FC 26, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and Nine Sols will be available to add to libraries starting May 5. The titles cater to fans of soccer, soulslike action, and metroidvania-style platformers.
PlayStation revealed its monthly games lineup for PlayStation Plus on April 29, offering them to all subscribers across Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers. The games become available to claim permanently on May 5 and can be played indefinitely as long as the subscription remains active. EA Sports FC 26 supports both PS5 and PS4, while Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is PS5-only, and Nine Sols runs on PS5 and PS4. Sony did not specify an end date for availability this time, though they typically rotate monthly. Subscribers have until May 4 to add April's games—Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream—to their libraries before they depart. Nine Sols, a Sekiro-inspired action-platformer, features cat-like protagonist Yi on a vengeance quest through a sci-fi and Eastern mythology-infused world, battling the nine Sols. It has earned an 'Overwhelmingly Positive' rating on Steam. Kotaku staffer Rebekah Valentine praised it for its 'really lovely art and music, genuinely compelling story,' tight controls, fair difficulty with sliders, and satisfying parry mechanics that converted her to a soulslike fan. Eurogamer described Wuchang: Fallen Feathers as 'Soulslike comfort food' in a three-star review, noting its competent design, cool aesthetics, death mechanic twist, but few surprises amid familiarity.
