Police hunt suspicious woman in CCTV footage after Delhi fire kills three

A fire in a four-storey building in Govindpuri killed three members of one family and left two others seriously injured. CCTV footage captured a woman entering the building before the blaze and leaving afterward.

The incident occurred on the night of 11-12 June 2026 in South East Delhi. Firefighters took hours to control the blaze that had already caused extensive damage.

CCTV footage obtained by police shows the woman entering the building moments before the fire and exiting shortly after it started. Her movements are described as highly suspicious.

Police sources said the woman’s arrest will clarify whether the fire was accidental or part of a conspiracy. The probe also includes technical evidence and call details.

Tension prevails in the area, with the victims’ family demanding justice.
