Fans have reacted enthusiastically on social media, praising the star's involvement. The film has also cleared censor formalities with a U/A certificate.

Excitement for Prabhas' horror-comedy The Raja Saab is mounting as the team dropped the promo for the song Raje Yuvaraje on December 25, dubbing it a festive treat. Prabhas shared the clip on Instagram, captioning it: “Merry Christmas A small festive treat from our end #RajeYuvaraje promo 🙂 #TheRajaSaab in cinemas from JAN 9th, 2026." Fans flooded the comments with praise, one writing, “Bro Literally Made this Movie For His Enjoyment After Giving Lots Of Blockbuster," while another exclaimed, “Raju lake raju prabhas raju."

The film, directed by Maruthi and produced by Viswa Prasad under People Media Factory, features Prabhas in dual roles alongside Malavika Mohanan in her Telugu debut, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, and Sanjay Dutt. Nayanthara appears in a special song. Music is composed by Thaman S, with the movie set for release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Recently, The Raja Saab completed censor formalities, earning a U/A certificate from the CBFC with a runtime of about 183 minutes, or three hours and three minutes, according to reports from 123 Telugu. The second song, Sahana Sahana, has already gained massive traction, with its Telugu version surpassing 10 million views. Composed by Thaman S, it features vocals from Vishal Mishra, Thaman S, and Sruthi Ranjani, with lyrics by Krishna Kanth. The track highlights the chemistry between Prabhas and Nidhhi Agerwal through stunning visuals and choreography.

The trailer sets a spooky tone, opening with Prabhas in a hypnotist's office amid the classic Bappi Lahiri and Usha Uthup track Koi Yahan Nache Nache. It introduces eerie visions of creatures and a haunted mansion, with Boman Irani presenting Sanjay Dutt as an “exorcist, psychiatrist, and hypnotist." Prabhas' character gears up for confrontation, including a light-hearted Star Wars nod, before revealing his older avatar as the evil grandfather, opposite Zareena Wahab as the grandmother.
