Series Overview

'56 Days,' previously titled 'Obsession,' adapts Catherine Ryan Howard's bestselling novel into an eight-episode erotic thriller. The story centers on Oliver, played by Avan Jogia, and Ciara, portrayed by Dove Cameron, who meet by chance in a supermarket and quickly develop an intense romantic connection. Fifty-six days into their relationship, investigators discover a brutally murdered and decomposed body in Oliver's apartment, sparking a mystery about who killed whom.

The narrative alternates between the present-day homicide investigation and flashbacks to the couple's passionate and perilous affair, blending crime elements with psychological tension. This series contributes to the recent resurgence in erotic thrillers across film and television.
