From this round, the top 16 players will secure spots in the final tournament, which adopts a knockout format and begins on February 16, 2026. Prize money totaling 320,000 Taka will be distributed among the finalists, with the champion receiving 100,000 Taka and the runner-up awarded 50,000 Taka. This competition highlights the growing interest in chess within Bangladesh, fostering talent development through accessible entry and competitive play.
