Rachael Fahim announces debut album 'Who You Are'

Australian singer-songwriter Rachael Fahim has revealed her first full-length album, 'Who You Are', set for release on May 1 through Island Records Australia. The announcement coincides with the drop of her new single, 'Never Coming Back', which opens the record and marks an emotional turning point in her music. The album draws from personal experiences of love, heartbreak, and healing.

Rachael Fahim is entering a new phase in her career with the announcement of 'Who You Are', her debut full-length album under Island Records Australia. Scheduled for release on Friday, May 1, the record features ten tracks written across Nashville, Los Angeles, and Sydney, reflecting raw moments from Fahim's life.

The lead single, 'Never Coming Back', sets the tone as the album opener. Fahim describes it as her “emotional whiplash” and “realisation song,” explaining: “It’s about that moment when you realise you aren’t heartbroken anymore. It captures the power shift when self-respect kicks in, the late-night calls stop working, and closure comes (with a side of sass of course hehe). It’s defiant, healed and rooted in the clarity that sometimes the best comeback is no comeback at all - it’s just leaving.”

'Who You Are' explores a relationship's journey from intense love to heartbreak and eventual healing, delving into themes of identity and self-worth. It includes previously released fan favorites such as 'Dance Around It', 'Good Luck', 'Who You Are', and the number-one Australian Country Radio single 'Too Damn Hot'. The full tracklist is: Never Coming Back, Who You Are, Deep End, Good Luck, Take It Back, Dance Around It, Easy As That, Too Damn Hot, Waste Of Makeup, and You Suck.

Fahim ended 2025 as the only Australian female artist to reach number one on the Australian Country Radio Chart, with 'Too Damn Hot' marking her sixth chart-topping hit. This success underscores her rising status in the country-pop genre. To promote the album, she will perform at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in New South Wales from January 20 to 23, 2026, including headline and festival slots. Following that, she joins US artist Jordan Davis as support on his national tour, with dates in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth in March, plus appearances at Meatstock Festivals in April.
