Half marathon participant Agus Putranadi died after collapsing during the BTN Jakarta International Marathon 2026 in Jakarta on June 14.
Agus Putranadi (1997-2026) collapsed at kilometer 14 of the race and was pronounced dead at 16:48 WIB at RS Siloam Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta.
Fellow runner Johan Rio Pamungkas said he was unaware of any health issues with Agus before the race. "He collapsed or passed out at kilometer 14, then when taken to medical and the hospital he was already unconscious," he said.
BTN JAKIM 2026 Medical Director dr. Andhika Raspati, SpKO expressed condolences and noted that organizers had deployed 257 medical personnel, 10 medical tents, and 21 ambulances throughout the event.
