During Disney's upfront presentation in New York City, Scrubs revival stars Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke and Donald Faison spoke with TVLine about the show's ongoing plotlines. In the first season finale, which aired on April 15, Dr. Perry Cox learned that his treatment for an autoimmune disease was not working as expected. This leaves his fate uncertain heading into season 2. Donald Faison highlighted a possible Easter egg. He noted that Cox wore an outfit resembling the one worn by Brendan Fraser's character in a classic episode. Faison said it might indicate something significant but added he does not know the outcome. Zach Braff responded that if true, it would be an Easter egg from John C. McGinley. The cast urged viewers to tune in this fall on ABC for more. They also shared their wish list for returning characters, including Ken Jenkins as Bob Kelso and others like Scott Foley and Elizabeth Banks.
