Sequim equestrian team secures multiple first-place wins

The Sequim Equestrian Team achieved several first-place finishes at a competition held at the Grays Harbor Fairgrounds from February 20 to 22, 2026. Other placements featured Morris first and Winters ninth in In-hand Trail, and the Team Versatility group of Swanberg, Kaija Johnson, Morris, and Torey in third.

Timed events saw Sharpe first in Keyhole and Seelye second in Individual Flags. In cattle events, the Team Sorting pair of Sharpe and Swanberg placed second. The team's next outing is scheduled for April 3-5, with state finals set for May 15-17.
