The 7-year-old gelding led throughout the 7 1/2-furlong race and secured victory by a half-length. Meanwhile, maiden races featured strong performances, with Sea Vista and Scaredy Catness tying for the top figure of 127.

Among maiden winners, the past seven days saw 31 horses post HRN figures of 100 or higher. Sea Vista and Scaredy Catness shared the week's highest at 127. Sea Vista, a 4-year-old colt by Street Sense trained by Brad Cox for Godolphin, won by 1 1/4 lengths at Aqueduct over 6 1/2 furlongs on dirt, guided by Manuel Franco. His running comment: "speed, chased outside, dropped back, gained, up outside the sixteenth."
Scaredy Catness, a 3-year-old colt by West Coast trained and owned by Marco Ccamaque, broke his maiden by three lengths at Mahoning Valley in a 5 1/2-furlong claiming race. The Last Straw earned 125 under Richard Mandella at Santa Anita, winning by 2 3/4 lengths over six furlongs.
Brad Cox led trainers with four winners at 100+, including Our Shenanigan (113) at Turfway Park and Worry Be Gone (104) there as well. Steve Asmussen had three: Publisher (111) at Oaklawn Park, Lebombo (109) at Sam Houston, and Goodall (107) at Fair Grounds.
Sire Into Mischief produced two standouts: The Last Straw (125) and Trouble Ahead (100). Dialed In sired Trouble Calling (121) at Fair Grounds, a half-sibling to Grade 1 winner Troubleshooting.
