JYP Entertainment announced on Friday that Stray Kids, an eight-member boy band that debuted in 2018, is preparing to drop its fourth full-length album, "Karma," on August 22. This marks the group's first such release since "5-STAR" in June 2023.

The teaser, shared on the band's social media the same day, introduces "2081 Karma Sports," a new element in the Stray Kids universe set in the future. It depicts the members competing in an event reminiscent of the Olympics or World Cup, with the goal of determining a winner. Further details on the album's tracklist are expected to be disclosed later.

Stray Kids has achieved notable commercial success with tracks including "God’s Menu" from 2020, "Thunderous" in 2021, "Maniac" in 2022, and "Walkin on Water" in 2024. Currently, the group is in the midst of its "dominATE" world tour, performing across Europe. Upcoming shows include performances in Saint-Denis, France, on Saturday and Sunday.
