Tekken 8 Reveals Bob and Roger Jr. as Season 3 DLC

Bandai Namco announced Roger Jr. and Bob as upcoming Tekken 8 Season 3 DLC fighters during the EVO livestream in Las Vegas yesterday.

The reveals came as part of the fighting game's ongoing post-launch content updates. Roger Jr.'s trailer directly referenced a 2016 viral video of a man punching a kangaroo, with Leroy and his dog replacing the original subjects.

Bob's gameplay trailer highlighted new moves and confirmed an August 19 release date. Fans at the event and online expressed enthusiasm for both characters' returns after long absences.

Former director Katsuhiro Harada had previously discussed Roger Jr.'s exclusion from Tekken 7 in a 2017 interview, later clarifying in 2025 that his comments had been misunderstood regarding animal activist concerns.
