Heavy rain has delayed the start of the 2026 Truist Championship at Quail Hollow in Charlotte, North Carolina. The first groups are now expected to tee off at 12:30 p.m. ET on Thursday.
The second Signature Event of the PGA Tour season features a $3.6 million winner's share and a strong field including World No. 2 Rory McIlroy. McIlroy is scheduled to play alongside Matt Fitzpatrick and Justin Rose in the opening round, which was originally set to begin earlier in the morning before the weather delay.
