Gibran wrote, "Turut berduka cita sedalam-dalamnya. Indonesia kehilangan talenta muda berbakat yang karya-karyanya banyak membawa warna, inspirasi, dan harapan baru bagi dunia seni tanah air." He added, "Dedikasi Almarhum akan selalu dikenang."
News of Vidi Aldiano's death was shared by family and fellow musicians on social media that Saturday. Entertainer and content creator Deddy Corbuzier posted on his Instagram account @mastercorbuzier an illustration of a cracked heart on a black background, accompanied by the text “My heart is broken. Badly broken. You gone too soon… Beautiful soul… Vidi Aldiano”.
In the caption, Deddy wrote, “I hate my self for not knowing you longer than I should.” The post quickly drew attention from netizens and garnered thousands of comments in a short time.
