Warren Haynes releases remixed track from 1993 solo album reissue

Gov’t Mule frontman Warren Haynes has unveiled a remixed version of “I’ll Be There One” from the upcoming remixed and remastered edition of his 1993 debut solo album, Tales of Ordinary Madness. This track follows the earlier release of “Fire in the Kitchen” and is now available digitally. The full reissue, featuring a bonus song, arrives on January 30.

Warren Haynes, known as the frontman of Gov’t Mule, continues to revisit his early solo work with the announcement of a remixed and remastered version of Tales of Ordinary Madness. Originally released in March 1993 and co-produced by Haynes alongside Chuck Leavell of the Allman Brothers Band, the album marked Haynes' first foray into solo territory. Since then, he has built a prolific career, including his most recent solo effort, Million Voices Whisper, from 2024.

The latest single, “I’ll Be There One,” represents the second preview from the reissue, building on the previously shared “Fire in the Kitchen.” Set for release on January 30, the updated album introduces the bonus track “Tear Me Down,” which was absent from the original lineup. Fans can stream the new single through major digital platforms immediately.

To celebrate the reissue, Haynes has lined up an extensive touring schedule under the Winter of Warren 2026 Tour. It kicks off with intimate solo performances from February 12 in Grass Valley, California, running through February 26 in Pelham, Tennessee. This phase transitions into dates with the Warren Haynes Band, starting March 1 in Birmingham, Alabama, and featuring a stop on March 6 at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York.

Further ahead, Haynes reunites with Gov’t Mule for shows beginning March 27 in Denver, Colorado. The summer brings a co-headlining tour with Joe Bonamassa, launching July 29 in Vienna, Virginia. A full itinerary is available on WarrenHaynes.net, offering opportunities for audiences to experience both classic material and Haynes' evolving sound.
