Worm releases Witchmoon music video featuring Marty Friedman

The band Worm has unveiled the official music video for their single "Witchmoon: The Infernal Masquerade," which features guitarist Marty Friedman, formerly of Megadeth. This track serves as the closing song on their new album Necropalace, released on February 13, 2026, via Century Media Records. The video marks the third official visual from the album, following singles "Necropalace" and "Blackheart."

Worm, a Floridian band known for their necromantic black doom sound, released the official music video for "Witchmoon: The Infernal Masquerade" on February 13, 2026. The track features guitar work from Marty Friedman, the former Megadeth guitarist, and represents the album closer on Necropalace, their first full-length with Century Media Records.

Necropalace draws from a wide sonic palette, blending black metal, doom, 1980s heavy metal, goth, neoclassical metal, baroque-influenced harpsichord, piano arpeggios, and death metal elements. The album builds on the band's previous release, Foreverglade, showcasing grandiose songcraft rooted in extreme metal history, from 1990s symphonic black metal to 1980s shred techniques.

Produced by Charlie Koryn of Morbid Angel and mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk, who has worked with acts like King Diamond and Blood Incantation, Necropalace evokes a world of lush velvet, ostentatious gold, and eternal loneliness. Vocalist Phantom Slaughter commented on the band's inspirations: "Outside of exhuming obscure symphonic black metal tapes from 1996, much inspiration for Worm comes from my obsession with 80s/90s horror."

The videos for Necropalace's lead singles, including "Necropalace" and "Blackheart," were directed by Norman Cabrera, with production by Maya Kay, color grading by Alex Nicolaou, and overall direction from Ted Nicolaou. The full tracklisting includes: "Gates To The Shadowzone (Intro)," "Necropalace," "Halls Of Weeping," "The Night Has Fangs," "Dragon Dreams," "Blackheart," and "Witchmoon: The Infernal Masquerade" (feat. Marty Friedman).

This release positions Necropalace as a call to fans of vampiric and nightbound themes in metal.
