Yastika Bhatia century puts India closer to Lord's win

Yastika Bhatia scored an unbeaten 113 to help India declare at 341 for seven and set England a target of 457 runs in the one-off women's Test at Lord's. England reached 130 for six at stumps on the third day.

Yastika Bhatia became the first woman to have her name on the Lord's honours board for a Test century after reaching 113 off 158 balls. She shared the milestone with teammate Kranti Gaud who had taken five wickets on the previous day.

India resumed on 154 for one and added 187 runs before declaring. Sophie Ecclestone claimed five for 118 while Richa Ghosh remained unbeaten on 50 off 52 balls.

England lost their openers inside three overs and later saw Tammy Beaumont, Maia Bouchier, Nat Sciver-Brunt and Heather Knight dismissed cheaply. Amy Jones remained not out on 52 alongside Mady Villiers as the visitors avoided an innings defeat.

India need four more wickets on the final day to complete their first Test victory at the historic venue.
