Mid-sized firms

The South Korean government has allocated 65 billion won ($45 million) to support research and development (R&D) projects for medium-sized enterprises in 2026. The funding particularly targets AI-centered initiatives in manufacturing, marking a 20 percent increase from last year's budget. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources aims to enhance corporate competitiveness in the AI era and promote balanced regional growth.
