Broken Social Scene releases second single 'Hey Amanda' from 'Remember the Humans'

Following the announcement of their long-awaited album *Remember the Humans* and lead single 'Not Around Anymore,' Broken Social Scene has shared 'Hey Amanda.' The band describes the track as being about 'being yourself, and how people will always question that.'

Broken Social Scene continues teasing their upcoming album Remember the Humans—their first full-length studio LP since 2017's Hug of Thunder—with the release of 'Hey Amanda' as the second preview single. Set for May 8 via Arts & Crafts, the album was previously detailed with its full tracklist, production notes, and contributors including Feist and Hannah Georgas.

The new song delves into themes of self-identity and external doubts, according to the band. It follows 'Not Around Anymore' and is available to stream via official channels on Pitchfork.

The album rollout coincides with the All the Feelings Tour alongside Metric (releasing Romanticize the Dive on April 24) and Stars, kicking off in June.
