Cenco Malls wrapped up the 2025 edition of its Alto al Cáncer campaign with an exclusive colloquium for employees at Sky Costanera, centered on early breast cancer detection and self-care. Marking the program's tenth anniversary, the event featured actress Claudia Conserva as moderator and a panel of experts sharing personal stories. It underscores the company's dedication to women's preventive health.
The event took place at Sky Costanera in Santiago, an iconic venue that fostered an intimate setting for reflection. Moderated by national actress Claudia Conserva, she opened with an inspiring message: “Siempre es bueno recordar que hoy tú debes ser tu prioridad. Este conversatorio es para eso, para recordarnos que debemos cuidarnos, escucharnos y darnos el tiempo que muchas veces postergamos”.
The panel featured Carolina Paulsen, María Paz Valenzuela, Dr. Verónica Toledo, a breast oncological surgeon from the Arturo López Pérez Foundation (FALP), Inés Balbontín from Palpa organization, and María Inés Buzada, a Cenco Malls employee. They addressed the importance of timely diagnosis, emotional support in treatments, and the value of sharing stories to motivate other women.
One panelist emphasized: “Este tipo de instancias nos recuerdan que la prevención salva vidas y que hablar del cáncer de mama con naturalidad es clave para fomentar el diagnóstico oportuno. En Cenco Malls tenemos un compromiso interno con el autocuidado, anualmente trabajamos junto a Fundación Arturo López Pérez, para entregar mamografías gratuitas a nuestras colaboradoras, locatarias y proveedoras, impulsando así la salud preventiva”.
Over the past ten years since its launch, the campaign has delivered more than 7,500 free mammograms to communities, employees, tenants, and suppliers, reinforcing Cenco Malls' role in community wellness and breast cancer prevention efforts.
