CFCL spring 2027 menswear uses light fabrics and soft hues

Designer Yusuke Takahashi presented the CFCL spring 2027 menswear collection with practical and colorful garments.

The collection draws inspiration from the 1933 Paimio Sanatorium designed by Aino and Alvar Aalto in southwestern Finland. Takahashi explained that the use of color aimed to convey energy and optimism while giving a subtle edge to the clothes.

New knitting techniques produced lighter results than in past seasons. The TC Shrink material creates transparent yet professional tops, while the TC Milan series combines 70 percent traceable organic Indian cotton with 30 percent recycled polyester for jackets and cardigans that remain easy to layer.

Some jackets appear formal from the front but turn transparent at the back. Takahashi noted the goal of imitating wool fabrics while ensuring they stay washable and avoid a streetwear look.

The brand plans to open stores in Korea next year and is considering locations in Bangkok and at Le Bon Marché in Paris. It will also release its first book with Rizzoli International in September.
