Chinese robot vacuums lead global market rankings

Chinese manufacturers' robot vacuums are achieving strong success in overseas markets thanks to artificial intelligence, with Narwal Robotics products quickly rising to the top on Amazon US.

Narwal Robotics launched its latest product in the US market in April, equipped with a dual-camera vision recognition system and an artificial intelligence-powered cleaning platform. The product quickly topped Amazon US new releases and entered the top 10 robot vacuum category within 24 hours of launch.

User feedback highlights the devices' ability to recognize clutter, navigate obstacles and mark valuables. US user Mikki Hayward said: "It doesn't get stuck on random boxes or obstacles, and it even tags small valuables it finds so they don't get lost in the shuffle."

Data shows cleaning robots accounted for 7.75 billion yuan in exports during the first quarter of this year, representing 68.5 percent of China's total robot export value. In 2025 global shipments of 32.72 million units, Chinese manufacturers held more than half the market share, with Roborock, Ecovacs, Dreame, Xiaomi and Narwal in the global top five.
