Cristopher Sánchez allows four runs in loss to Brewers

Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cristopher Sánchez had his shortest outing in nearly two months on Sunday afternoon, allowing four runs over 5 2/3 innings in a 4-0 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field.

Sánchez gave up eight hits, including two home runs, and one walk while striking out a season-low three batters. He acknowledged the outing was off, citing poor sleep the night before.

The performance came two days after Brewers starter Jacob Misiorowski threw a one-hit shutout with 15 strikeouts against the Phillies. Sánchez's ERA rose to 1.82 following the start.

Philadelphia managed no runs against Milwaukee left-hander Kyle Harrison, who tossed six scoreless innings. The Phillies fell to 3-9 against the NL's three division leaders this season.

Sánchez said he remains focused on his starts rather than awards. The Phillies begin a stretch of 29 games against non-playoff teams on Monday.
