Cecilia Ross, 62, was charged with aggravated assault after allegedly pointing a handgun at a door-to-door salesman and threatening to kill him if he returned to her home in Lehigh Acres, Florida.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m. on Tuesday when the salesman, working for Enviroguard Pest Control, was riding a one-wheel hoverboard through the neighborhood. Ross pulled up in a black Nissan SUV, rolled down her window, and pointed a black Ruger SR22 handgun at him, according to a Lee County Sheriff's Office booking report.
She allegedly told the salesman, "If you come back to my house, I will f—ing kill you. I'll f—ing shoot you." The salesman raised his hands and rode away before hiding and calling police. Deputies described him as visibly shaking during the interview.
Officers executed a search warrant at Ross' home and recovered the handgun from a bedroom dresser drawer. "No trespassing" signs were posted outside the residence. Ross was arrested Tuesday, booked into the Lee County Jail, and released on Wednesday after posting a $7,500 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 10.
