The Corruption Eradication Commission seized assets worth Rp22 billion belonging to DPR RI member Anwar Sadad and his staff Bagus Wahyudiono on Wednesday.
Acting Director of Investigation at the KPK Achmad Taufik Husein announced the seizure at the KPK's Red and White Building in Jakarta. The seized assets include land, shophouses, houses, an apartment, a sports arena, and an LPG filling station across locations in East Java.
The seizure relates to alleged corruption in managing grant funds for community groups in East Java provincial government for the 2019–2022 budget years. Anwar Sadad is suspected of receiving Rp6.9 billion in bribes from three private parties through his staff.
The KPK has named 20 suspects in the case and detained seven of them as of July 22, 2026. The agency said it will continue to trace fund flows and other assets.
