Indonesia's Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned Valentino Matthew, son of bribery suspect in a Supreme Court case, Menas Erwin Djohansyah. The examination concerns alleged money laundering within the Supreme Court environment. VM is scheduled to appear as a witness at the KPK's Red and White Building in Jakarta.

Indonesia's Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled an examination of Valentino Matthew (VM), son of bribery suspect in a Supreme Court case, Menas Erwin Djohansyah. VM, a private entrepreneur, is summoned as a witness in allegations of money laundering within the Supreme Court environment. The examination will take place at the KPK's Red and White Building in Jakarta, as stated by KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo when confirmed by ANTARA in Jakarta on Monday.

The case stems from the verdict against former Supreme Court Secretary Hasbi Hasan, who was sentenced to six years in prison by the DKI Jakarta High Court. Hasbi was proven to have received a bribe of Rp3 billion to handle the bankruptcy lawsuit of the Simpan Pinjam Cooperative (KSP) Intidana at the cassation level in the Supreme Court, aiming to win for debtor KSP Intidana, Heryanto Tanaka. The bribe money was received by Hasbi from Heryanto through Dadan Tri Yudianto, with Heryanto handing over a total of Rp11.2 billion to Dadan for handling his company's case.

On September 25, 2025, the KPK detained Menas Erwin Djohansyah, Director of PT Wahana Adyawarna, as one of the suspects. Menas is alleged to have given an advance of Rp9.8 billion to Hasbi Hasan for the case handling. This case highlights alleged corruption in the judicial process at the Supreme Court, even though the bribery efforts failed to win the case.
