Following its April 10 premiere on Hulu, the four-episode revival of Malcolm in the Middle, titled Life's Still Unfair—which reunites much of the original cast for a family anniversary story—has earned Certified Fresh status with an 81% Tomatometer score based on 26 reviews.
As previously announced, Frankie Muniz reprises Malcolm, now a successful adult with teen daughter Leah (Keeley Karsten), while Jane Kaczmarek and Bryan Cranston return as parents Lois and Hal, hosting a big anniversary party that gathers the family. Christopher Kennedy Masterson and Justin Berfield appear as Francis and Reese; Dewey is recast with Caleb Ellsworth-Clark (via Zoom as a touring musician).
