Military police officer Marcionílio Sancho Cambuhy Junior, known online as Sancho Loko, was arrested in flagrante in Curitiba for possessing irregular ammunition during a Gaeco operation. The probe targets a group suspected of torture, procedural fraud, bodily injury, and ideological falsehood. His arrest was converted to preventive detention.
On Tuesday (7), Gaeco, an arm of the Paraná Public Prosecutor's Office, executed four search and seizure warrants at suspects' residences and a Police Military unit in Curitiba. The warrants were issued by the Military Justice Audit Court. During the operation, three military police officers, including 44-year-old Junior, were arrested in flagrante for possessing irregular ammunition found in their homes.
Two PMs were granted provisional release with cautionary measures, but Junior's arrest was converted to preventive detention. His lawyer, Claudio Dalledone, stated that the client is "orderly and will prove his innocence and the origin of all equipment found," describing the items as components for shooting instructor practice. Dalledone challenged the suspicions: "we have not yet had access to this insinuation and formally nothing exists about it."
Searches uncovered cash in two residences and, in unidentified lockers at the military unit, firearm replicas, irregular ammunition, marijuana, crack, and cocaine. Agents seized cell phones and electronic storage devices. The PM Internal Affairs supported the operation.
Junior has over 270,000 followers sharing his PM routine and ran for federal deputy in 2022 on the Pros ticket, receiving 9,128 votes. The PM said it will initiate an administrative procedure and reaffirmed its commitment to legality.
