A 1-year-old boy died after a hit-and-run driver struck his family's car in Playa Del Rey, California. The crash also killed his uncle and left two others injured.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning as the family drove home from a day at the beach. A white Jeep Cherokee crossed into oncoming traffic on Vista Del Mar Avenue and collided with the blue BMW carrying Roger Sandoval Farias, his parents and his uncle Oswaldo Sandoval Amaya, 25, according to Los Angeles police. The driver fled the scene on foot after abandoning the vehicle.
