Peacock adds AI features for Bravo clips and NBA games

Peacock is launching new AI-powered features in its mobile app, highlighted by 'Your Bravoverse,' a vertical video playlist narrated by an AI avatar of Andy Cohen for Bravo shows. Additional updates include vertical-format live NBA games and new mobile games.

Peacock, an NBCUniversal streaming service, announced on Friday several AI enhancements for its mobile app, set to roll out this summer. The centerpiece is 'Your Bravoverse,' which offers endless swiping through vertical clips from over 5,000 hours of Bravo programming, including Vanderpump Rules and the Real Housewives franchise. AI and computer vision analyze the footage to create personalized playlists that connect storylines across seasons, with more than 600 billion possible variations that refresh regularly. Users select favorite shows and moments to generate their playlist, accessible via a new Vertical Video section replacing the download button on the app's home page. The playlists are narrated by an AI avatar of Andy Cohen, host of Watch What Happens Live and creator of Real Housewives, trained to mimic his style and voice. Cohen described it as 'intuitive' and 'interactive,' stating: 'It's the best of AI and the best of Bravo, helping fans discover shows, dive deeper into their favorite moments, and connect with the Bravo universe like never before -- all guided by me. Well, not exactly me, but a version of me!' Matt Strauss, Chairman of NBCUniversal Media Group, called it a 'first-of-its-kind experience' pairing the Bravo library with agentic and generative AI. Bravo viewers average 24 hours monthly, with some watching up to 75 episodes. Other features include live NBA games in 9:16 vertical format within the Courtside Live section, launching this spring—first tested during the NBA All-Star Game on February 15. Peacock has offered vertical sports clips since early 2025 for NBA, NHL, and the 2026 Winter Olympics. Two new games arrive this spring via Wolf Games: Law & Order: Clue Hunter and Public Eye, plus a Jeopardy! mini-game with daily trivia. In its 2025 Q4 earnings, Comcast reported Peacock's paid subscribers at 44 million, up 22% year-over-year, with revenue at $1.6 billion, up 23%.
