Persib Bandung has released five players after winning the 2025/2026 Super League title. Manager Umuh Muchtar said the player recruitment process is more complicated due to facing four competitions at once.
As of 24 June 2026, Persib has officially released Alfeandra Dewangga, Adam Przybek, Layvin Kurzawa, Federico Barba, and Sergio Castel. The five players left the club after last season.
The management also appointed Igor Tolic as the new coach to replace Bojan Hodak. Tolic previously served as an assistant coach at the same club.
Umuh Muchtar said on 22 June 2026 that this round of player recruitment is more complicated because of the tight timeline. He asked the public to wait for the official announcement as soon as possible without naming specific players.
West Java Deputy Governor Erwan Setiawan mentioned that Persib will bring in Jese Rodriguez and one former Ajax player in early July. The statement was made in a conversation uploaded on social media.
