Persija Jakarta manager Ardhi Tjahjoko said he is ready to resign after the team failed to win the BRI Super League 2025/2026 title.
Ardhi said he takes full responsibility for the team's performance after finishing third with 68 points. He leaves any decision about his future to club management.
He still hopes to lead Persija to the title in 2027 to mark Jakarta's 500th anniversary. He wants the team to focus on winning matches one by one without excessive pressure.
Persija will face Semen Padang in the final match of the season at Jakarta International Stadium on Saturday, 23 May 2026 at 4 p.m. local time. Semen Padang has already been relegated.
