Taylor Farms has recalled all its iceberg lettuce produced in Mexico after it was linked to a cyclosporiasis outbreak affecting thousands in the United States.
The company announced the recall on Saturday due to possible contamination with Cyclospora. The product was distributed between June 29 and July 16 across 27 states.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported 1,645 confirmed cases since May 1, 2026, along with more than 5,100 suspected cases and 141 hospitalizations. The outbreak has been linked to lettuce supplied to Taco Bell restaurants.
Walmart recalled four Marketside brand salads as a precaution. The Mexican government is collaborating with the FDA to investigate the origin, though it noted that contamination in Mexican territory has not been confirmed.
