WWE has confirmed two matches for its return to Madison Square Garden on July 18 and explored additional bouts for the card.
The company announced Danhausen versus JD McDonagh along with Fatal Influence challenging Paige and Brie Bella for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Plans were also considered to pair Danhausen with 2026 NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson for an on-screen segment. Those ideas were set aside after Brunson underwent left wrist surgery, though WWE remains hopeful he will attend and appear.
Additional matches under discussion include Bayley against Lyra Valkyria, Trick Williams defending the United States Championship against Carmelo Hayes, and CM Punk defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Sami Zayn.
Other potential contests involve Penta and Chad Gable facing Ethan Page and Rusev, Damian Priest and R-Truth defending multiple tag titles against the War Raiders, and Cody Rhodes meeting Gunther in a no holds barred match.
