EU-Egypt

Egypt has been added to the list of countries authorized to export aquaculture products to the European Union for the first time, the National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) announced. The authorization covers finfish, their products, and crustaceans, following Egypt's fulfillment of EU technical requirements. The EU decision is scheduled for formal adoption in a quarter of 2026.
