Cali Mayor Alejandro Eder announced on July 1, 2026, a series of changes to his cabinet to strengthen management in the final stage of his term.

Among those leaving are Johana Caicedo from the Secretaría de Bienestar Social, Diego Giraldo from Planeación, Leydi Higidio from Cultura, Luz Adriana Vásquez from Infraestructura, Nigeria Rentería from the Secretaría de Paz y Cultura Ciudadana, María Alexandra Pacheco from the EDRU and Maritza Aponzá from Participación Ciudadana. Caicedo left her post on June 30.

New appointees include Vanessa López Roja in Planeación Municipal, Juanita Cataño in Participación Ciudadana, Víctor Alfonso Barrera Miranda in Paz, Daniel Montoya Ossa in Infraestructura, Nigeria Rentería Lozano in Bienestar Social, Mauricio Bonilla Guerrero in the EDRU and Julián Eduardo Arteaga Aguilar in Cultura.

The Mayor's Office said the changes respond to the need to speed up strategic projects in the 2024-2027 Development Plan. Eder thanked the outgoing officials for their work.
