Apple förbjuder annonser för hemmatjänster i Apple Maps

Apple har förbjudit annonser för hemmatjänster i sin kommande annonsplattform för Apple Maps. Beslutet följer företagets tillkännagivande i mars 2026 om planer på att införa annonser i appen under sommaren i USA och Kanada.

De nya riktlinjer som publicerades denna vecka listar flera kategorier av förbjudet innehåll. Dessa inkluderar förtalande material, olagliga handlingar, vilseledande påståenden, drogrelaterad marknadsföring och politisk reklam. En specifik regel riktar sig mot hemmatjänster.

"Annonsinnehåll som innehåller eller direkt eller indirekt främjar hemmatjänster – inklusive men inte begränsat till VVS, elarbeten, låssmedstjänster, värme- och ventilationsarbeten, skadedjursbekämpning, takarbeten eller allmänna entreprenadtjänster – är förbjudet", står det i riktlinjerna.

Apple beskriver annonserna som verktyg för upptäckt och navigering. Fokus ligger på lokala företag, restauranger, butiker och landmärken snarare än tjänsteleverantörer. Detta tillvägagångssätt skiljer sig från konkurrenter som redan visar annonser för hantverkare i sina karttjänster.

Restriktionerna utgör en del av Apples växande tjänstedivision, som inkluderar prenumerationer, appavgifter och andra annonsplatser.
