Michigan rose from No. 4 to No. 3 after a 2-0 West Coast road trip, defeating Washington 82-72 and Oregon 81-71. The Wolverines, now 16-1, lead the Big Ten representation with four teams in the top 11: Purdue at No. 4, Nebraska at No. 7, and Michigan State at No. 10. Nebraska made program history by jumping to No. 7, its highest ranking ever, after improving to 18-0 with wins over Oregon and Northwestern.

Three teams remain undefeated: Arizona, Nebraska, and Miami (Ohio), who debuted at No. 25.
