Trey Yesavage delivered a quality start, allowing three runs over six innings while striking out nine. He gave up a home run to Colson Montgomery.
Manager John Schneider stressed the need for wins. "We’ve got to start winning," he said. "That’s just the bottom line."
The Blue Jays managed just one run over the past two games. They host the Tampa Bay Rays for a four-game series beginning Monday.
