Brazil's national team defeated Panama 6-2 at Maracanã on Sunday in a friendly warm-up for the 2026 World Cup. The match marked the team's farewell on Brazilian soil before traveling to the United States.
Brazil took the lead in the first minute with a goal from Vinicius Junior. Panama equalized at the 14-minute mark through Murillo, but Casemiro headed in the winner at 39 minutes.
In the second half, after ten substitutions, Brazil pulled away with goals from Rayan, Paquetá, Igor Thiago and Danilo Santos. Panama scored once more late on through Harvey.
Injured Neymar waved to the crowd without playing. Coach Carlo Ancelotti tested formations to be used at the World Cup. The next match is against Egypt on June 6 in the United States.
