Caitlin Clark, a standout point guard for the Indiana Fever, has been announced as a special contributor to NBC Sports' Basketball Night in America. The role marks her entry into broadcasting, where she will provide insights alongside experienced analysts.

Her first appearance will be on February 1 at Madison Square Garden, covering the matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks. Clark expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity: “I’m really excited to be part of the Basketball Night in America crew this season. Carmelo, Vince, and Tracy are legends of the game and Maria is a true professional.” She will work with studio host Maria Taylor and former stars Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter, and Tracy McGrady.

Sam Flood, Executive Producer at NBC Sports, praised her addition: “Caitlin is one of the most captivating players and dynamic scorers in basketball.” A native of West Des Moines, Iowa, Clark built her reputation at the University of Iowa, becoming the all-time leading scorer in NCAA Division I history. In the WNBA, she has earned two All-Star selections and was named the 2024 Rookie of the Year.

Clark is scheduled to return for commentary on March 29, when the Oklahoma City Thunder host the Knicks at home. These Sunday Night Basketball broadcasts will air on NBC, Peacock, and Telemundo, bringing her perspective to a wide audience as she balances her playing career with this new venture.
