Chapecoense defeated Botafogo 2-0 at Arena Condá on Thursday and secured a spot in the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil.
The win reversed the 1-0 defeat from the first leg. Marcinho and Bolasie scored for Chapecoense, ending an eight-match winless streak.
The first goal came in the 22nd minute. Marcinho cut inside from the left and curled a shot into the top corner. Bolasie made it 2-0 just before halftime with a header from Everton's cross.
Botafogo pushed forward after the break but failed to score. Anderson made key saves and Chapecoense held firm. The team next hosts Remo on Sunday in the Brazilian league.
