Dindigul district forms 230 teams to transport EVMs to polling stations

Authorities in Dindigul district have formed 230 teams to transport Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and other poll materials to 2,301 polling stations across seven Assembly constituencies. Dindigul Collector S. Saravanan inspected the installation of GPS devices on the vehicles. The vehicles will carry EVMs from strong rooms to the polling stations on April 22.

In Dindigul district, 2,301 polling stations have been set up across seven Assembly constituencies. A total of 230 teams have been constituted to transport Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and other poll materials to these stations.

Dindigul Collector S. Saravanan inspected the fitting of GPS devices on the vehicles. These vehicles will be deployed to carry EVMs from strong rooms and distribute other materials to polling stations throughout the district.

On April 22, the vehicles will transport the EVMs and other materials to the respective polling stations.
