From 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, a diversion plan will begin on Cañasgordas Avenue in Cali due to construction of the second roadway.
The measure will apply for three months between Parque Acuática and the Chontaduro sector. Its goal is to allow construction of the rainwater drainage system on the corridor connecting Cali with Jamundí.
The plan will shift vehicle flow to the new western roadway, which already has the first asphalt layer over approximately two kilometers. Valle Infrastructure Secretary Frank Alexander Ramírez explained that the affected stretch is located after the Pance bridge in the Cali-Jamundí direction.
The Valle del Cauca Governor's Office recommended that drivers respect the signage and plan their trips in advance. Authorities stated that the restrictions aim to advance the works without halting vehicle circulation.
