FEI Precious Metals Division Forms Export Committee

The Gold and Precious Metals Division of the Federation of Egyptian Industries has formed a new export committee to boost shipments of gold, silver and jewellery.

The committee is chaired by division head Ehab Wassef. It will create a plan to raise exports, tackle obstacles for exporters and improve coordination with government trade bodies. Wassef called the move a top priority. He noted recent gains in manufacturing quality and design, saying the sector is well positioned for export growth. The division also named its board for the 2025–2029 term and added an advisory group of experts. The goal is to increase the industry’s share of Egypt’s export earnings.
