A former elementary school teacher shared an account of the pressure faced by Al Ghazali and El Rumi as children due to their parents' conflict.
The account circulated widely on social media on Thursday, 7 May 2026. The former teacher at the elementary school attended by the children of Ahmad Dhani and Maia Estianty explained that Al and El often faced disruption from media presence around the school.
They had to use alternative routes to enter and exit the school to avoid journalists. In some cases, Al Ghazali did not attend school when his father did not permit it.
The teacher also noted that the children's report cards were rarely collected directly by the parents. The unstable parenting situation was said to have affected their academic development at the time.
