Hawaii-intagen åtalas för mord på flickvän under permission

En 55-årig intagen på Hawaii har åtalats för mord i andra grad efter att ha stuckit ihjäl sin flickvän och attackerat sin separerade fru under en permission för arbetsfrigivning. Officers subdued and arrested Nihipali outside the home.  Strax över en timme senare, klockan 17.30, fick myndigheterna ett samtal om en medvetslös 53-årig kvinna i en bostad i McCully. Kvinnan, identifierad som Nihipalis flickvän, hade flera stickskador, inklusive försvarskador på händerna. Polisen behandlade det inledningsvis som ett oövervakat dödsfall men kopplade senare ihop det med den tidigare händelsen via fotbojan och fordonet.  Nihipalis separerade fru låg kvar på sjukhus men tillfrisknade, uppgav Honolulu Police mordutredare löjtnant Deena Thoemmes under en presskonferens på fredagen. Han hålls utan borgen på Oahu Community Correctional Center.
