Hillstate players initially doubted Megawati Hangestri joining

Coach Kang Sung-hyung revealed that Hyundai Hillstate players did not believe Megawati Hangestri would become their teammate in next season's V-League.

Megawati Hangestri previously played for rival team Red Sparks over the last two seasons. Foreign V-League players are scheduled to arrive in Korea starting July 1.

Kang Sung-hyung recounted in an interview that some players asked him whether Megawati would truly join. “Is it true she is coming? Is it true Mega will come to our team?” he quoted them as saying.

Key player Kim Da-in has not commented yet as she is busy with her free agent status. Megawati received independent training to stay fit ahead of the new season.
